FAQs

Straightforward answers about packages, guest numbers, sites, weather, installation and booking.

Do you offer bespoke tipi hire packages?

Yes. Every event is different, so we can tailor the number of tipis, layout, furniture, lighting and optional extras around your venue, guest numbers and plans.

Can you add extra space to an existing venue?

Yes. A tipi can create additional dining, bar, reception or breakout space alongside an existing venue. We’ll assess access and ground conditions, then recommend a practical layout.

How many guests can your tipis accommodate?

As a guide, one tipi suits up to 50 seated guests and is recommended for up to 90 evening guests. Two tipis suit up to 80 seated with a dance floor and around 150 evening guests. Three tipis can seat up to 150 and suit around 200 evening guests. Four tipis can provide tables and seating for up to 180 guests. Final capacity depends on your layout, furniture and catering requirements.

What happens if it rains?

Our tipis are designed for British weather and are professionally anchored and checked. Sides can be lowered for shelter, with matting, lighting and optional heating helping to keep the space comfortable. We’ll also talk through site drainage and access during planning.

Do you provide site visits?

Yes. Where needed, we’ll assess the available space, vehicle access, ground conditions, overhead and underground services, and the best orientation for the tipis.

When are the tipis installed and dismantled?

Build and takedown timings depend on the package, venue access and event schedule. We agree a clear installation plan with you in advance and coordinate with the venue and other suppliers where required.

Can you provide power, lighting and heating?

Fairy lighting is included in our standard packages, and we can quote for generators, festoon lighting, uplighters and indirect heating where required. We’ll help you understand the power needs for your bar, caterer, entertainment and other suppliers.

How much space do I need?

The required footprint depends on the number of linked tipis, entrances and surrounding working space. The site should be reasonably level with safe installation access. Send us the venue or postcode and we’ll advise on suitability.

How far in advance should I book?

Popular spring and summer dates can book well in advance, especially Saturdays. It’s worth checking your date as soon as your venue is confirmed, but please ask about shorter-notice availability too.

What deposit and payment schedule do you require?

A 10% deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due four weeks before the event. Your quotation and booking terms will set out the full schedule clearly.
